Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bitetti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bitetti lands a leg kick that knocks Diego off balance momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bitetti. Diego does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bitetti with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Diego to score with a decent uppercut.

Bitetti has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Diego takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Diego looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Diego looks to score with a jab to the body but Bitetti is just out of range.
Diego throws a sloppy head kick and Bitetti moves out of range easily.

Diego lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bitetti circles away quickly and effectively.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bitetti takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Diego feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bitetti's calf.
Diego looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bitetti looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Sanderlei Bitetti has been cut.
Diego swings for the body but Bitetti moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Diego.
Diego throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Diego cracks Bitetti with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Bitetti is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Bitetti is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
