Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romulo Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa has chosen Reckless Life - Guns N' Roses as his entrance music. Rodrigo Machado is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Romulo Costa!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Costa sprawls well initially but Machado persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Costa wants to get back to his feet.
Costa is looking for a sweep. Machado is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Machado stops Costa from getting back to his feet.
Costa flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Costa is not content to let Machado control the position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Machado connects with a nice short shot to Costa's temple.
Costa is trying to stand.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Costa blocks a leg kick.
Machado closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Machado has hold of Costa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Costa seems comfortable defending it but Machado has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Costa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Costa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Machado couldn't care less - he's delighted!
