Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Goodman (ranked 23838 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emelya Fedorov (ranked 24763 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Goodman or perhaps it was just good defense by Fedorov, which made it look bad.
Fedorov throws a fast counter high kick but Goodman manages to duck under it in time.
Fedorov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Emelya Fedorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fedorov closes the distance and clinches up with Goodman, looking for a takedown. Fedorov pushes Goodman against the cage but Goodman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fedorov tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Goodman stands and steps away. Fedorov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Goodman has hold of Fedorov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fedorov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Goodman cranks the arm and Fedorov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fedorov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
