Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Pembelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pembelton comes to the cage accompanied by Hail Mary. Stark has chosen Iron Man-Black Sabbath as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Pembelton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Stark! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark throws a lazy right hand but Pembelton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pembelton feints and as Stark raises his hands in defense, Pembelton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stark wants to get back to his feet but Pembelton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pembelton wants to control from the top but Stark keeps moving. Pembelton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stark wants to get back to his feet but Pembelton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pembelton wants to control from the top but Stark keeps moving. Pembelton stops Stark from standing up. Pembelton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pembelton trying to control but Stark is working from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stark throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stark displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Pembelton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark tries to kick Pembelton off in order to stand up. Pembelton Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Stark is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Pembelton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Stark wants to get back to his feet. Pembelton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pembelton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stark wants to get back to his feet but Pembelton drags him back down. Pembelton is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stark knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Pembelton is breathing heavily. Stark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pembelton is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stark tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Stark has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Pembelton is persistently looking for the submission but Stark is defending it well.

Stark is trying to get back to his feet but Pembelton has full control of the position and if anything, Stark has just worked his way into a worse spot. Stark defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pembelton is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Stark is defending well though. Pembelton let's go of the attempt for now. Stark is trying to get back to his feet but Pembelton has full control of the position and if anything, Stark has just worked his way into a worse spot. Pembelton has his opponent's back but Stark is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Pembelton. Stark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Anthony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pembelton darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pembelton is pressing down on Stark's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stark is holding on for now. Pembelton is working for a submission of some sort.

Stark throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stark stuffs the takedown. Stark throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A left and a right from Stark both land. Nice combination. Pembelton takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stark thuds a left hand into Pembelton's body. Left hook, right uppercut from Stark. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pembelton doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Stark throws a good cross that connects.
Pembelton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stark fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stark lands an overhand right. Pembelton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pembelton is rocked! Frank Pembelton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pembelton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stark.

Stark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pembelton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stark throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A combination from Stark does no damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stark throws a right and a left that Pembelton avoids nicely. Pembelton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stark tries to escape but Pembelton is in control. Pembelton advances to mount. Pembelton quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Pembelton but it's paid off an Stark is forced to tap! Nice work by Pembelton.
