Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Davies (ranked 5502 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liangyi Tao (ranked 2343 p4p, 0 weight class). Liangyi Tao looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Davies does no damage.
Davies throws a nice looking combination but Tao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Davies shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tao eats them both and turns towards Davies to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Liangyi Tao has been cut.
Tao looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Tao shoots in looking for a takedown but Davies manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tao's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Davies is pawing at Tao, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Tao's nose. Tao is badly hurt! Davies pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Tao tries desperately to hold on but Davies is relentless in his assault! As Tao receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Davies away and this one is in the books!
