Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ram Rocker (ranked 891 p4p, 115 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 1265 p4p, 165 weight class). Rocker comes to the cage accompanied by For Heavy Metal we will die!. Snitch has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ram Rocker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snitch! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rocker misses with the combination.
Snitch drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rocker defends it well. Rocker misses the jab. Snitch looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rocker wants to sweep here but Snitch controlling him for the moment. Snitch postures up.
Snitch controlling from the top position. Snitch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snitch content to stall in guard here. Rocker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snitch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snitch controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rocker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snitch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rocker looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Snitch passes into half guard.
Snitch is pressing down on Rocker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rocker is holding on for now. Rocker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snitch pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Snitch not doing much here.
Snitch thows a huge punch but Rocker dodges it nicely.
Rocker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Snitch is working away from the top position though. Snitch controlling the action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocker actively working from the bottom here. Snitch is thwarting Rocker's attempts to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rocker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rocker staying out of range there. Snitch ducks under a wild hook from Rocker. A looping hook to the body misses from Snitch. Rocker does a little dance to reset his feet. Snitch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Snitch gets the takedown into side control. Rocker is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rocker gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocker wants to improve his position but Snitch is controlling well.
Rocker is looking to control Snitch's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rocker avoid being mounted? Snitch controlling the action here. Rocker wants to sweep but Snitch has passed to side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rocker is looking to regain half guard here but Snitch keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Snitch dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Snitch, as that shot connected.
Snitch tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rocker swats him away and circles back towards the center. Snitch swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rocker tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Snitch is able to avoid easily. Rocker throws a chopping leg kick but Snitch manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Snitch drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Rocker defends it well. Snitch wants to clinch. Rocker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snitch was well out of range. Poor timing from Rocker. Snitch looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Rocker connects with a body shot. Rocker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A lazy left from Rocker finds it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rocker feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Snitch's calf. Rocker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Snitch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rocker. Snitch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rocker napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snitch controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rocker is looking to reverse the position. Snitch tries to move to mount but Rocker blocks the move with his legs. Rocker is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Snitch is staying tight to Rocker's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rocker is looking to reverse the position. Rocker sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rocker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rocker looking for a sweep. Not yet Rocker, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snitch passes Rocker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Snitch is figuring out what he wants to do next. Rocker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Snitch is trying to control the action in half guard but Rocker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Snitch is taking a breather. Rocker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Rocker gets back to full guard.

Snitch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Snitch controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Snitch trying to move into half guard but instead Rocker has managed to sweep! Snitch looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rocker is one step ahead there. Rocker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Snitch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rocker. Rocker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snitch looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Snitch is trying to control the position but Rocker postures up. Rocker throwing strikes but missing. Rocker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Snitch works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rocker forces his way into half guard. Snitch is trying to stand up here but Rocker is controlling him well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snitch has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rocker is working away from the top position though. Rocker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Snitch to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ram Rocker dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Snitch closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rocker's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rocker is looking for a triangle here but Snitch uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rocker is looking for a sweep. The referee asks Snitch politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Snitch prefers to stall for the moment though. Rocker is trying to get back to half guard. Snitch scoring with punches and elbows. Rocker is not content to let Snitch control the position. Rocker is trying to improve his position. Snitch controls the position from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rocker tries to bench press Snitch off him but Snitch keeps the position. Rocker sneaks back into half guard. Rocker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Snitch pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snitch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rocker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Rocker is looking to improve his position.
Snitch is keen to just control but Rocker is a slippery customer. Rocker moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Snitch is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocker looking for a sweep. Not yet Rocker, not yet. Rocker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snitch manages to get himself to full guard.
We've been hearing that Rocker has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Rocker being controlled here momentarily. Rocker cracks Snitch with a solid left hand. Snitch controls Rocker momentarily but Rocker frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocker trying to control but Snitch is working from the bottom. Rocker missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Snitch wants to sweep here but Rocker controlling him for the moment. Rocker is looking to work some ground and pound but Snitch has wrist control. Snitch is pulling down on Rocker's head. It's preventing any offense from Rocker, at least for the moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Snitch is trying to keep Rocker in close.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rocker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Snitch's head backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ram Rocker. I think Rocker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Jon Snitch spoke after the fight, saying 'This loss will make me better, I will be back.'.
