The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tha looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Tha trying to control but Turnal is working from the bottom.
Tha postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Turnal is on top in guard.
Turnalis looking to pass into half guard but Tha pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Tha is in guard.
Tha stopping the sweep attempt from Turnal.
Turnal is working hard here to advance position.

Tha passes Turnal's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Tha gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Tha shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tha showed some decent athleticism there.

Turnal moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Turnal is looking to sweep but instead, Tha has passed into half guard.
Turnal is breathing heavily.

Tha is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Turnal has managed to free his arm - good work.
Tha is thwarting Turnal's attempts to control the position.

Turnal is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tha pulls his head out easily.
Turnal wants to improve his position but Tha is controlling well.
Tha not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Turnal is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tha's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tha's back!
Turnal controlling well, preventing Tha from escaping the position.
Turnal wants to control but Tha is keeping busy.

Turnal is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Tha has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Turnal has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Tha taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Turnal doesn't care though - he's delighted!
