Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hubert Nielsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tim Tam! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nielsen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nielsen darts in looking for a takedown but Tam gets double underhooks and turns Nielsen into the cage. A punch combination from Tam misses. Nielsen tries for a takedown but Tam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hubert Nielsen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tam closes the distance and clinches. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Tam obliges. Tam lands a nice knee to the body. Nielsen is breathing heavily. Tam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nielsen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tam. That one must have hurt. Tam gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tam manages to break the clinch.
Tam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nielsen, pushing him back against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tam breaks the clinch.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Tam.

Tam closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A nice left hand lands by Tam.
Nielsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tam lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nielsen backwards. Tam manages to break the clinch.
Tam thows a body kick. Nielsen tries to catch it but that hurt him. Tam closes the distance and clinches. Tam breaks from the clinch.
Tam swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tam throws a head kick but Nielsen moves out of range.
Tam drives through and clinches with Nielsen against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tam pushes Nielsen back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Tam breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tam closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tam makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Tam scores a nice knee to the body.
Tam lands with a light punch inside. Tam lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Hubert Nielsen has been cut. Still in the clinch, Tam scores with a nice short uppercut.
Nielsen is rocked! Tam connects with a nasty looking knee right to Nielsen's face.
Oh Nielsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tam lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nielsen backwards. Tam creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Nielsen's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Nielsen drops to his knees and Tam pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tim Tam!
