Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herschel Nunez (ranked 4885 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben Mandore (ranked 4875 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ruben Mandore!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandore throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nunez tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mandore is in Nunez's guard.
Nunez is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Mandore presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Nunez ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nunez no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Mandore lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Mandore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mandore works over Nunez with some ground and pound from guard.
Mandore working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nunez's head.
Nunez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mandore's guard.
Mandore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nunez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nunez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mandore throws a push kick but Nunez slaps the foot to one side.
Nunez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Mandore misses with a kick to the body.
And Nunez counters with a quick kick to the body but Mandore blocks it.
Mandore throws a leg kick but Nunez sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nunez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mandore defends well and Nunez ends up having to push Mandore into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nunez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mandore swivels and escapes.
Nunez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mandore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nunez gets caught flat footed, as Mandore shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Nunez wriggles free and stands up.
Mandore shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nunez's guard.
Mandore throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nunez works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mandore throws a strike but Nunez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Nunez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Nunez makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ruben Mandore will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mandore shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mandore was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nunez sneaks out the side door and pushes Mandore away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Nunez dives in and grabs Mandore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mandore pushes down on Nunez's head and hops out.
Mandore looks to land a body kick but Nunez moved away.
Herschel Nunez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mandore is looking to clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Nunez or perhaps it was just good defense by Mandore, which made it look bad.
Nunez shoots for a takedown but Mandore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nunez controls Mandore momentarily but Mandore frees himself.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mandore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nunez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nunez throws a big counter combination but Mandore scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Mandore lands a nice hook to Nunez's body. Nunez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Mandore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nunez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mandore's guard.

Mandore might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nunez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's time! Nunez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

and Mandore counters with a left and a right that stings Nunez.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mandore dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Nunez has had enough and taps out.
