Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darius Witt (ranked 6926 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Zirkovic (ranked 4809 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Darius Witt has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darius Witt seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witt fails with the takedown.
Zirkovic gets tackled into the cage by Witt. Witt maintains the clinch.

Zirkovic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Witt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Witt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zirkovic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Witt has managed to get both his arms back between Zirkovic's legs - danger averted.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Zirkovic holds on and takes a little breather.
Witt drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zirkovic manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Witt has Zirkovic in his guard.
Zirkovic wants to control from the top but Witt keeps moving.

Zirkovic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Zirkovic wants to advance to full mount but Witt doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Witt is trying to get back to his feet but Zirkovic has full control of the position and if anything, Witt has just worked his way into a worse spot.

I really don't envy Witt right now.
Witt is having to fend off submission attempts from Zirkovic, who is looking to sink in the choke. Zirkovic doesn't have the hooks in though and Witt manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Zirkovic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Zirkovic seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
