Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Irong Kasamsun (ranked 4867 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Wood (ranked 4900 p4p, 0 weight class). Wood is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Notorious B.I.G - Hypnotyze. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasamsun throws a hook but Wood blocks it.
Wood slips under a jab from Kasamsun.
Kasamsun looks to throw the jab but Wood is out of range.
As Kasamsun backs off Wood throws a huge counter combo but Kasamsun manages to avoid it all.
Wood throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Kasamsun counter with a right hand.
Kasamsun closes the distance and pushes Wood back into the cage.
Wood tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kasamsun avoids it.
Kasamsun lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wood backwards.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kasamsun.
Wood jumps guard.
Kasamsun definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wood looking to control but Kasamsun passes into half guard.
Wood is trying to control but can't.
Kasamsun prevents Wood from improving his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kasamsun trying to control the pace.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wood regains full guard. Nicely done.
Kasamsun is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Kasamsun trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wood is on top in guard.
Kasamsun wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Wood gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kasamsun cracks Wood with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Wood looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kasamsun finish him?
Wood is rocked!
Kasamsun moves into the clinch successfully.
Wood is still on wobbly legs! Can Kasamsun finish him?
Kasamsun lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wood backwards.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kasamsun dips a shoulder and cracks Wood with a mighty uppercut! Wood falls back against the cage and Kasamsun unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wood is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kasamsun screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Irong Kasamsun!
