Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Brent (ranked 390 p4p, 52 weight class) and Harold Zoid (ranked 368 p4p, 50 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brent tries to land a front kick but Zoid steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Zoid tries a quick counter leg kick but Brent is wise to it.
Brent cracks Zoid with a right hand to the side of the head.

It looks like Harold Zoid has been cut.
Zoid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Zoid ducks under a wild hook from Brent.
Zoid replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Brent blocks it well.
Zoid misses with a body shot.
Zoid lands with a nice combination. Brent backs away looking to recover.

It looks like David Brent has been cut.
Brent looks for the body kick but Zoid saw that one coming.
Zoid throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brent throws a big shot that misses.
Zoid misses with a head kick.
Nice body kick there by Zoid.
Brent explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Brent lands the left hand.

Brent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zoid moves away.
Zoid misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Zoid takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Zoid takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Brent misses with an attempted mid kick.
Zoid displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brent throws out the jab.

Zoid fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Brent checks it well.
David Brent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zoid takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Brent misses with a hook. Zoid ducked under it nicely.
Brent lands a nice looking body kick.
Zoid moves out of range as Brent throws a body kick.
Zoid bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brent's head.
Brent throws a right hand that Zoid ducks under and follows up with a left that Zoid also avoids with ease.
Zoid digs a good hook to Brent's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A punch lands to the side of Brent 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Zoid takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Zoid jabs Brent to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Zoid loads up on a big right hand but Brent slips the punch.
Brent fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Brent is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Brent fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fighters circle momentarily. Zoid darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Zoid looks to land a left hand but Brent moved out of range nicely.
Zoid loads up on a big right hand but Brent slips the punch.
A big right from Brent misses.
A lazy left from Zoid finds it's target.
Brent clobbers Zoid with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A combination from Zoid does no damage.
Brent scores with a crisp jab that stopped Zoid in his tracks.
Brent circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zoid to the canvas! Zoid doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Brent keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

A very excited looking David Brent rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
