Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Edvard Grieg (ranked 1928 p4p, 224 weight class) and Vyrkyx Dall (ranked 830 p4p, 100 weight class). Dall has chosen Art of War - Sabaton as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Grieg misses
and Dall counters with a nice low kick that buckles Grieg's knee momentarily.
Grieg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dall connects with the punch.
Dall dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Grieg. That did some damage!
Dall tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Grieg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Grieg tests Dall's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Grieg fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dall.

The crowd cheers as Dall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Grieg doesn't seem phased though.

Dall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grieg doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dall.

Dall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Grieg is just riding it out for now. Dall eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Grieg has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dall.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dall, right into the meat.
Dall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Grieg looks to land a combination but Dall avoids it well.

Vyrkyx Dall seems to be getting the better of the standup.

The fighters circling - Grieg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grieg moves away.

Dall throws a solid leg kick but Grieg takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dall.
Dall does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dall lands a leg kick that knocks Grieg off balance momentarily.
Dall looks for a takedown but Grieg sprawls well.

and Grieg holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Grieg lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dall quite badly. Dall pulls Grieg in close trying to recover. Grieg postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dall on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dall doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

After winning the bout, Edvard Grieg thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
