Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Scorpion (ranked 2244 p4p, 265 weight class) and Ryu Aokison (ranked 2684 p4p, 306 weight class). Aokison has chosen Caroline as his entrance music. Ryu Aokison has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Anderson Scorpion's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anderson Scorpion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryu Aokison! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aokison finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Scorpion ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Aokison looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Aokison throws a body shot but no joy. Scorpion throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Aokison moves away from the strike by Scorpion. A swing and a miss from Scorpion. Scorpion scores with a jab. Scorpion throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Scorpion misses with a kick to the body.
Aokison has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scorpion. Scorpion takes a swing at Aokison's ribcage but misses. Aokison avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Aokison tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aokison uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Scorpion. Aokison smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Aokison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scorpion was well out of range. Poor timing from Aokison. Scorpion misses with a left hand and Aokison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Scorpion won't be happy with that. Scorpion's coaches at Psycho’s Elites have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Scorpion parries the strikes from Aokison easily there. Aokison is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Scorpion to escape.

That's one minute gone in the round. Scorpion is working hard here to advance position. Aokison throws a strike aimed at the side of Scorpion's head but Scorpion avoids it well. An elbow from Aokison crashes against the mat.
Aokison trying to control the position but Scorpion is working away. Aokison working the head with strikes. Scorpion prevents Aokison from improving position. Aokison has an Americana. Scorpion didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Aokison is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Aokison hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ryu Aokison! An out of breath and clearly excited Ryu Aokison thanked Pit Bull Development for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
