Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between PJ Biro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Roe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kai Roe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, PJ Biro! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Roe! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Biro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roe tries to avoid it but Biro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roe to the ground. Roe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Roe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roe lands an elbow. Biro wants to control but Roe postures up. Roe trying to control the position but Biro is working away. Roe wants to control for a moment but Biro uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Roe manages to get to full guard.

Roe looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Biro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Roe is looking to regain half guard here but Biro keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Biro tries for a kimura but Roe is defending well. Roe tries to get back to half guard but can't. Biro working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Roe is looking to reverse the position. Biro working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Roe wants to control but Biro postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Roe sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Biro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roe doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Biro. Roe works his way to full guard. Good work. Roe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Biro's guard. Roe wants to control from the top but Biro keeps moving. Biro tries to land a sweep but no joy. Roe works over Biro with some ground and pound from guard. Biro trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roe wants to pass the guard but Biro is keeping the position. Biro controls Roe momentarily but Roe frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Biro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Biro keeping moving, preventing Roe from controlling successfully. Roe wants to pass the guard but Biro is keeping the position. Biro wants to sweep here but Roe controlling him for the moment. Roe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A jab from Roe misses. Biro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roe counters with a single leg into guard. Biro didn't expect that. Biro is trying to control the position but Roe postures up. Roe throwing strikes but missing. Roe landing some decent shots from guard. Roe won't allow Biro to sweep him here. Roe sitting in guard, not really doing much. Roe slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Roe scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Biro to see if he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kai Roe dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Roe misses with a looping right. Biro fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roe sprawls well initially but Biro persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Roe is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Biro has latched onto it... Big trouble! Biro pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Roe is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Biro!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). PJ Biro! PJ Biro retains his lightweight title!
