Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sal Zork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colton Pallanck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zork comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Against - Behind Closed Doors. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sal Zork! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colton Pallanck! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zork has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pallanck goes for a takedown in the clinch but Zork prevents it.

Zork managing to control the position. Zork looking for a sweep. Not yet Zork, not yet. Pallanck trying to control the position from guard on top but Zork is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zork manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Zork feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pallanck working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zork is trying to control. Pallanck wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Pallanck has hold of Zork's hands but Zork slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Zork is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pallanck is just riding it out for now. Zork eventually gives up the hold. Zork is looking to take a break and control but Pallanck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zork stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pallanck to get to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Zork shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zork showed some decent athleticism there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zork scoring with strikes to the body and head. Zork controlling the action here. Zork prevents Pallanck from improving his position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zork lands a nice short elbow. Zork takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zork escapes and gets back to his feet. Zork scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pallanck looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Zork lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Zork stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zork lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Zork softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Zork manages to pull guard.
Zork has control of Pallanck's left arm, preventing Pallanck from doing any damage. Pallanck must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zork wants to sweep but no luck. Zork working a defensive guard here.

Pallanck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Zork decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pallanck to his feet. Zork moves into the clinch. Pallanck drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zork pulls his leg out and moves away.

Nice straight punches there by Zork. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Zork.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zork looks to land a combination but Pallanck avoids it well. Zork pushes Pallanck up against the cage in a clinch. Zork turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zork manages to end up in side control. Zork working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zork has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pallanck! Zork looking to control and managing it successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zork working Pallanck over with strikes here. Pallanck is in trouble now - Zork has advanced to mount! Zork lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pallanck hang on? Pallanck takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Zork takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zork breaks from Pallanck's wrist control and lands an elbow. Zork sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Zork with the ground and pound from mount. Sal Zork overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Zork postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pallanck looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Zork is going olschool here, as he tries to force Pallanck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pallanck shrugs it off. Zork unloading with bombs! Zork landing shots from mount. Zork wants to control the pace but Pallanck is squirming around nicely. The referee warns Pallanck that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pallanck is squirming around, avoiding Zork's attempts to control the action. Zork with good strikes from the mount here! Zork tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Zork has hold of Pallanck's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pallanck manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Zork looking to control and managing it successfully. Zork working for a guillotine from mount but Pallanck is in no mood to give up. A nice elbow there by Zork. Zork has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Zork takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Zork has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Sal Zork showed his dominance in that final round. Well Zork has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
