Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sal Zork (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colton Pallanck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zork comes to the cage accompanied by Rise Against - Behind Closed Doors. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zork has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pallanck goes for a takedown in the clinch but Zork prevents it.

Zork feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Zork is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pallanck is just riding it out for now. Zork eventually gives up the hold.
Zork is looking to take a break and control but Pallanck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Zork turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zork manages to end up in side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zork is going olschool here, as he tries to force Pallanck to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Pallanck shrugs it off.
