The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dority swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shirai slips under a jab from Dority.
Shirai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shirai walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shirai gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Dan Dority seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Shirai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Dan Dority has been cut.

and Shirai counters with a nice right hand that sends Dority toppling to the canvas! Dority scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Shirai finish him?!
Dority looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shirai looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shirai throws a right and a left that both miss.
and Shirai counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Dority! He's just covering up as Shirai starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
