Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rocky balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bice Claypool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Claypool is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pantera - Walk. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, rocky balboa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bice Claypool! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claypool scores with a one two! balboa had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like rocky balboa has been cut. Claypool throws a sloppy head kick and balboa moves out of range easily. Claypool throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Claypool forces balboa back against the cage and clinches. With the fighters up against the cage, balboa throws an elbow but misses. Claypool drops to a knee looking for a takedown but balboa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Claypool breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Claypool tries to clinch but balboa moves out of range. Claypool keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Bice Claypool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A jab from Claypool finds it's way through balboa's defenses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick misses from Claypool. Claypool closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. balboa is looking to reverse the position. balboa tries to escape but Claypool is in control. Claypool lands an elbow. balboa striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
balboa bucks up and tries to throw Claypool off but instead Claypool has got his back! Claypool has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. balboa is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Claypool gets his way!
That's one minute gone in the round. balboa trying to control the action but Claypool just sinks the hooks in. balboa is covering up but some of the strikes from Claypool are getting through and doing damage.
balboa is trying to get back to his feet but Claypool has full control of the position and if anything, balboa has just worked his way into a worse spot. balboa is breathing heavily. balboa prevents Claypool from getting a body triangle. balboa looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Claypool lands strikes to the head. Will Claypool go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Claypool is not going to allow balboa to sit and survive in this position. balboa is trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Claypool landing with strikes. balboa defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Claypool keeps control of the position as balboa tries to break free.
