Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Herring (ranked 7790 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pascal Saikim (ranked 3206 p4p, 365 weight class). Saikim has chosen Kanye West- Touch da Sky as his entrance music. Pascal Saikim will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dwayne Herring!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pascal Saikim!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herring slaps away a takedown attempt from Saikim, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Herring moves out of range as Saikim throws a body kick.
Saikim shoots in looking for a takedown but Herring manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Saikim's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Saikim tries to keep at a distance but Herring has taken the fight into the clinch.
Herring is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Saikim to keep the fight standing.
Herring is pressed up against the cage. Saikim has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Herring down to the mat. Herring avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dwayne Herring has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pascal Saikim.
Saikim shoots in for a takedown but Herring shows good takedown defense.
Herring is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saikim shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Herring sprawls well. Herring wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saikim gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Dwayne Herring has been cut.

Saikim fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Herring tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saikim paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Saikim tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Herring could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Saikim scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Herring clinches up with Saikim and pushes him back against the cage.
Herring has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Saikim uses from the top position.
Saikim throwing strikes from guard but Herring blocks nicely.
Saikim looking to sit in guard and control but Herring gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Herring stops Saikim from standing up.
Herring's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Herring is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Saikim is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Saikim has escaped and now he's on top!
Herring preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Herring wants to sweep here but Saikim controlling him for the moment.
Saikim working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Herring's head.
Herring might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Herring is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Saikim is controlling him.
Saikim has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Herring to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Saikim is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Herring pulls down on the head and he's put Saikim to sleep! This one is all over!
