Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Travis Rodgers (ranked 5177 p4p, 112 weight class) and Justice Times (ranked 5179 p4p, 113 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Rodgers !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justice Times !
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Times misses with a low kick.

Times scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
You can see the frustration on Rodgers 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Times working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Rodgers can't do much from the bottom here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodgers manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Rodgers is keen to just control but Times is a slippery customer.

Rodgers wants to stand up but Times is controlling the position.
Times keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Times wants to control but Rodgers is keeping busy.
Times avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rodgers .
Times is staying active underneath Rodgers , who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Times wants to get back to his feet.
Times is refusing to be controlled, as Rodgers sits in half guard.
Rodgers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Times is trying is best to control the position here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Times is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Rodgers is controlling the pace.
Rodgers wants to free his trapped foot but Times is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Times gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rodgers forces his way into half guard.

Times is pressing down on Rodgers 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Times is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Rodgers wants to control from the top but Times keeps moving.
Rodgers trying to move into half guard but instead Times has managed to sweep!

Times trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rodgers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Rodgers is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Times defends well.

Rodgers is looking for a triangle but Times pushes his legs off easily.
Times controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rodgers wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Times is now in half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Times slows the pace down in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Travis Rodgers will probably get the nod.

Times closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rodgers did well to prevent Times getting side control.
Times passes to side control.
Times controlling from side mount.
Rodgers gets back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodgers regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Times slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rodgers looking to control.
Rodgers is really struggling to control Times but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rodgers throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rodgers is trying to keep Times in close.
Times wants to stand but Rodgers is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rodgers wants to improve his position but instead Times has moved into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rodgers trying to control but Times postures up.
Times prevents Rodgers from improving his position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Rodgers tries to clinch there but Times circles away.
Rodgers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Times as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rodgers or perhaps it was just good defense by Times , which made it look bad.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Times changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rodgers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rodgers wants to get back to his feet but Times is dominant here and he's now got Rodgers 's back!

Times really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodgers . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Times .
Times lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Rodgers .
Rodgers is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Times .
I really don't envy Rodgers right now.
Times is riding his opponent, not letting Rodgers buck him off.

Rodgers is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Times working for the choke.
Rodgers wants to escape the position.
Times has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justice Times showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!



Times moves into the clinch.
Rodgers tries to circle away but Times has him pinned against the cage.
Times keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rodgers 's efforts to push away.
Times tries to pull guard but Rodgers holds him up against the cage and eventually Times drops back down to his feet.

Times gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rodgers regains guard.
Rodgers is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Times is working Rodgers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Times looking to sit in guard and control but Rodgers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Times is pulling down on Rodgers 's head. It's preventing any offense from Rodgers , at least for the moment.
Rodgers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Times swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Times throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rodgers uses it to pass to side control.
Rodgers working the ground and pound.
Rodgers creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Times sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Rodgers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Times keeps working.
Times can't do much from the bottom here.
Rodgers tries to stand but Times is controlling his head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Times misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Rodgers wants to control but Times is keeping him busy.

Rodgers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Times , who protects the arm well.
Times wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Times prevents Rodgers from moving into mount.
Times is trying to control Rodgers 's posture but Rodgers avoids it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Times .
Rodgers throws a series of punches but Times moves out of range.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rodgers takes the fight into the clinch.

Times breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Rodgers .
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rodgers tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Times counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rodgers won't be happy with that.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Travis Rodgers .
I think Rodgers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
