Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Oswald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mark Oswald has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mark Oswald seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Oswald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McManus! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oswald blocks a head kick by McManus.
Crunch! Oswald slams his shin into McManus's torso. Oswald tries to clinch but McManus is having none of it. Good standup being displayed there by Oswald as he connects with a hook. Oswald misses with the combination.
Oswald scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Oswald is looking to clinch but McManus is avoiding it.

Mark Oswald is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from McManus. Oswald really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oswald manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. McManus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Oswald darts in trying to clinch and McManus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Oswald won't be happy with that. McManus looks gassed! McManus stands up and beckons Oswald to his feet. Oswald avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McManus throws a hook but Oswald avoids it easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A right-left combo lands from Oswald. Oswald swats away the attempt to clinch by McManus. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's pushed McManus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Oswald tries to clinch up. McManus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Oswald tries to bum rush McManus with a series of wild strikes but McManus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mark Oswald is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McManus swats away the attempt to clinch by Oswald. The fight stays on the outside here - Oswald looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oswald throws a right hand that McManus ducks under and follows up with a left that McManus also avoids with ease.

John McManus has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McManus has had enough of the clinch but Oswald keeps him there for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Oswald showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Oswald, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
