Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brady Wynne (ranked 4345 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Tremblay (ranked 22188 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor Tremblay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brady Wynne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevor Tremblay! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wynne changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tremblay tries to avoid it but Wynne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tremblay to the ground. Tremblay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tremblay tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wynne swivels and escapes. Tremblay is looking to clinch. Wynne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wynne rushes Tremblay and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wynne has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tremblay is trying to keep an underhook but Wynne manages to get the takedown into half guard. Wynne stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Tremblay looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tremblay fails with the takedown. Brady Wynne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Tremblay. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wynne is defended easily by Tremblay.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tremblay takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tremblay shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wynne defends it nicely. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tremblay. Tremblay is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wynne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tremblay was covering up waiting for the punch and Wynne finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tremblay not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tremblay utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wynne trying to control but Tremblay is working from the bottom. Wynne wants to get up but he can't break Tremblay's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Wynne preventing the sweep. Wynne with a flurry of punches that miss. Wynne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wynne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tremblay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tremblay is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wynne is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wynne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wynne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tremblay looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wynne puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Wynne looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Wynne is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Tremblay wants to get back to full guard. Tremblay scores with a few weak punches. Tremblay is trying to stand up here but Wynne is controlling him well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wynne misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wynne closes the distance and clinches. Tremblay is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wynne is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brady Wynne dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Wynne closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wynne has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Wynne has managed to clinch.
Tremblay pushes Wynne back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Wynne stalling.
Tremblay is trying to break the clinch but Wynne is controlling him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wynne keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tremblay's efforts to push away. Wynne is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tremblay can do to turn this around? Wynne has Tremblay pressed against the cage.

Tremblay is trying to maintain a safe position but Wynne gets an underhook and turns Tremblay into the cage. Wynne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tremblay avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tremblay has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wynne after a bit of a struggle. Tremblay fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Wynne has hold of one of Tremblay's legs. Tremblay is fighting the takedown attempt but Wynne gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wynne throws a big right hand that misses. Wynne trying to control but Tremblay is working from the bottom. Wynne stands up from Tremblay's guard - Wynne perhaps looking for a knockout. Tremblay closes the distance and clinches. Wynne throws a knee to the head but misses.
Tremblay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Wynne lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Wynne prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tremblay looking for a takedown. Wynne breaks from the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wynne. Wynne takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wynne has taken the fight to the clinch.
Wynne digs a right hand underneath Tremblay's ribcage. Tremblay let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wynne has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tremblay uses from the top position. Tremblay stopping the sweep attempt from Wynne. Wynne keeping full guard, as Tremblay tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tremblay postures up in Wynne's guard and throws a big left but Wynne blocks it. Wynne is looking for a triangle but Tremblay pushes his legs off easily.
Wynne keeping moving, preventing Tremblay from controlling successfully. Brady Wynne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Wynne wants to stand up but Tremblay is controlling him. Wynne has his foot on Tremblay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tremblay works his way back into a safe position though. Tremblay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wynne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tremblay trying to control the position from guard on top but Wynne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tremblay scores with a decent looking elbow strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brady Wynne dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Tremblay tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wynne defends well and Tremblay ends up having to push Wynne into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Tremblay fails in his attempt to clinch. Tremblay lands with a kick to the temple. Wynne shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tremblay is looking to clinch but Wynne is avoiding it.
Trevor Tremblay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wynne moves into range and clinches up with Tremblay. Tremblay tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tremblay is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tremblay has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wynne avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Brady Wynne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Tremblay. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tremblay lands a nice shot to the body. Tremblay is working for takedown but Wynne is calmly controlling the position for now. Tremblay is looking to take this one to the mat. Wynne drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tremblay pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tremblay takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wynne shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tremblay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wynne wants to stand but Tremblay is controlling his posture from full guard. Wynne throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tremblay preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tremblay keeping moving, preventing Wynne from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wynne tries to stand but Tremblay is controlling from the bottom. Wynne pushes down on Tremblay's leg and manages to get into half guard. Wynne is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tremblay defends it well. It looks like Wynne is going to stand back up.
Wynne wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tremblay keeps working. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tremblay is looking to control Wynne's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tremblay avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tremblay tries to clinch up. Wynne is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tremblay. Wynne instigates a clinch. Wynne pulls guard. Tremblay sitting in guard here, content to control. Wynne is trying to control the position but Tremblay postures up. Wynne looking for a guillotine here but Tremblay defends easily.
Tremblay controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wynne is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wynne has Tremblay pulled in close to control his posture. Wynne tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wynne being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Tremblay shoots in looking for a takedown. Wynne tries to sprawl out of it but Tremblay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wynne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Brady Wynne showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wynne has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
