Coming up we have a bantamweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sub Machine (ranked 24154 p4p, 250 weight class) and Antonio Brown (ranked 1459 p4p, 79 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Brown 's choice of entrance music: Michael Jackson- Don't stop til you get enough. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the bantamweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Sub Machine! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 3 losses; Antonio Brown ! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Machine was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Machine (0) vs (2) Brown Machine is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Brown stands and throws Machine's legs to the side, diving into side control. Score +3 for passing guard: Machine (0) vs (5) Brown Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Machine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Brown is looking to take a break and control but Machine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown tries for a kimura but Machine is defending well. Brown advances nicely into full mount. Score +2 for reaching mount: Machine (0) vs (7) Brown
That's one minute gone in the round. Machine is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount. Machine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brown has hold of Machine's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Machine manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Brown looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Brown prevents Machine from getting the reversal. My spies in Rabid Dog inform me that Brown has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Brown controlling the position easily from mount.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Brown with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Machine is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brown looking to control but Machine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Machine tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control. Machine tries to hold on but Brown postures up. Brown controlling from the full mount. Machine is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown controlling his opponent. Brown working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Machine looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Brown ! Submission of the night perhaps?
