Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dond Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kako Barros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kako Barros looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bond shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bond is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bond clinches with his opponent.
Bond breaks from the clinch.
Kako Barros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bond looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barros is fending him off so far but Bond persists. Nope, Barros circles away and we're back to standing. Barros takes a swing at Bond's ribcage but misses. Bond looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Barros! Barros is trying to stand up. Bond prevents Barros from getting the reversal. Barros wants to try and get back to his feet. Bond content just to control the position here. Bond cracks Barros with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Bond is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Barros is surviving well by controlling Bond's body position as best he can. Barros is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond wants to take his opponent's back but Barros doesn't allow it. Bond is landing with some decent strikes but Barros is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Barros stops Bond from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Barros gets back to half guard. Bond is breathing heavily. Bond is looking to take a break and control but Barros is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bond is working for a kimura but Barros is defending it quite comfortably.
Bond stops Barros from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barros manages to get to full guard.
Bond looking to sit in guard and control but Barros gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Barros trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bond trying to keep a closed guard but Barros is proving a slippery customer.
Bond is looking to sweep but instead, Barros has passed into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barros is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barros prevents Bond from improving his position. Barros decides to return to a standing position. A slow jab from Barros misses its intended target. Bond shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barros's guard. Bond stands up from Barros's guard - Bond perhaps looking for a knockout. Barros misses with a straight right. Bond slips a jab and a cross from Barros.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barros swinging wilding here.
Kako Barros is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bond shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bond showed some decent athleticism there. Barros is trying to stand up here but Bond is controlling him well. Barros trying to control here.
Barros is staying active underneath Bond, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Bond stops Barros from getting back to his feet.
Bond keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barros has one foot on Bond's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Bond throws a nice inside leg kick. Barros lands a nice hook to Bond's body. Bond takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dond Bond dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bond shoots in but Barros avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bond throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barros's waist but Barros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bond off to one side. Barros throws a series of strikes that have Bond backpedaling.
Bond takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Barros lands a nice shot to the body.
Bond bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bond swings around for an armbar but Barros sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bond's guard. Bond scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Barros lands a two punch combo.
Good leg kick by Barros there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Barros tries to clinch but Bond is having none of it. Bond looks for a takedown but Barros sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dond Bond. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Barros stalks Bond and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bond's face. Bond staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barros's waist but Barros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bond off to one side. Bond takes a shot right to the bread basket. Bond misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bond looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Barros is fending him off so far but Bond persists. Nope, Barros circles away and we're back to standing. Bond darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Barros tries to get to full guard but Bond has control of the leg. Barros trying to control here.
Bond wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barros keeps working. Barros tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bond manages to move to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bond content just to control the position here. Bond trying to control but Barros is having none of it. Barros is wriggling around trying to escape.
Barros is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Barros wants to hold on but Bond pushes him away. Barros is looking to improve his position but Bond isn't that keen on the idea. Bond avoids the attempt from Barros to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Bond. Barros is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Bond has taken his back.
Bond looking for the choke but no joy. Bond not allowing Barros to control his hands. Bond is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bond gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bond gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bond apologises and we restart here on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bond throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barros's waist but Barros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bond off to one side. Barros cracks Bond with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Barros throws a right and a left that both miss. Barros throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Barros throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Barros tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bond paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bond shoots for a takedown but Barros saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bond avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Barros counters with a left and a right that stings Bond. Barros throws a nice looking combination but Bond bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bond fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bond feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Barros keeping moving, preventing Bond from controlling successfully. Bond drops back looking for a leg! Barros is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Barros manages to kick Bond off! Bond jumps back into Barros's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dond Bond dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bond wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barros, who protects the arm well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Barros tries to buck Bond off but Bond is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barros tries to escape but Bond is in control. Bond working away. Barros is trying to buck Bond off. Barros is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bond controlling the position from side mount. Bond working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Bond working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bond shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Barros as he jumps to the side. Bond keeps the fight on the outside. Barros tries a head kick but it misses.
Bond gets the takedown into side control. Bond trying to control the position but Barros is working away. Barros prevents Bond from moving into mount. Barros struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bond has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Barros closes the distance but Bond moves to the side and Bond counters with a nice double leg into side control. Barros won't be happy with that. Bond working away. Bond throwing shots but missing, from side control. Bond decides to take the fight back to the feet. Barros goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bond gets the takedown into side control. Barros is trying to get back to half guard. Bond trying to control the action but Barros is working from the bottom. Barros is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barros is looking for a sweep. Kako Barros has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dond Bond is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Bond tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Barros tries a head kick but it misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Dond Bond showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bond, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
