Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Ispa (ranked 178 p4p, 26 weight class) and Jean-Claude Marceau (ranked 89 p4p, 15 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean-Claude Marceau!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ispa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ispa moves in looking to clinch but Marceau pushes him off.
Marceau avoids the body shot from Ispa.
Marceau's coach down at Little Lebowski Urban Achievers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Marceau's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ispa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.


It looks like Jean-Claude Marceau has been cut.

Marceau lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ispa circles away quickly and effectively.

Marceau tries to sprawl but Ispa drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Ispa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marceau doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ispa.

Ispa seems to be looking for submissions.

Marceau is refusing to be controlled, as Ispa sits in half guard.

Ispa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marceau defends it well.

Ispa is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marceau is just riding it out for now. Ispa eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ispa is trying to control the action in half guard but Marceau is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ispa wants to pass to mount but Marceau is defending the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Marceau throws a leg kick but Ispa sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Ispa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Ispa takes a jab right on the kisser.

Ispa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marceau looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ispa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Marceau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ispa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Marceau is not content to let Ispa control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Ispa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marceau looks to throw the jab but Ispa is out of range.

Jean-Claude Marceau comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ispa has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
