The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reign slips under a jab.
Paulin throws a big shot that misses.
Thierry Paulin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Paulin looks to throw the jab but Reign is out of range.
Paulin tries a head kick but it misses.
Reign fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Paulin on the side of the head.

It looks like Thierry Paulin has been cut.
Paulin lands a head kick!
Reign misses with a low kick as Paulin jumps back.

Paulin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Reign connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Paulin scrambles back to his feet.
Reign misses with a looping right.
Reign lands a jab to Paulin's midsection.
Reign bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Reign uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Paulin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reign lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Paulin scores with a jab. Reign acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Paulin walks into a left hand.
Paulin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at House of 1000 Corpses in the buildup to the fight.
Reign ducks under a wild hook from Paulin.
Paulin feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Reign's calf.
Reign digs a good body shot into Paulin's ribs.
Paulin thuds his right hand into Reign's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Paulin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Paulin throws a big shot that misses.
Reign now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Paulin throws a hook to the side of Reign's head but Reign sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
It seemed like Reign was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Paulin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Reign sprawling to the canvas! Reign rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Paulin finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reign uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Paulin.
Paulin moves away from the strike by Reign.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Paulin! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Thierry Paulin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
