The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox connects with a looping right hand.
A big right from Fox misses.
Fox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Park as he jumps to the side.
Fox looks for a takedown but Park sprawls well.

Park is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fox's half guard.
Fox wants to get back to full guard.
Park throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Park wants to control but Fox is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fox has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Park is working away from the top position though.

Park postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fox to stand up.
Park steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fox.
Park attempts a counter takedown but Fox avoids it well and moves away.

Park closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fox quickly recovers to half guard.

Park decides to stand back up.
We've been told by Park's head coaches at Cozad MMA Tokyo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Fox closes the distance and clinches up with Park, looking for a takedown. Fox pushes Park against the cage but Park circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jon Lam Park has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Red Fox.

The fight stays on the outside here - Park looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fox lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Park tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fox paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Park moves in looking to clinch but Fox pushes him off.

Park looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Fox!

Park trying to control the action but Fox is working from the bottom.
Park has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Park decides to stand back up. Park steps back and let's Fox get back to his feet.
Park lands a jab to Fox's midsection.
Fox lands with a cross.

Park is rocked!
Fox cracks Park on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Park falls backwards against the cage. Fox follows up with more strikes that drop Park to his knees. Fox keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Park! This one is all over!
