PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ono Kuronoa (ranked 1789 p4p, 102 weight class) and Total Bastard (ranked 926 p4p, 56 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bastard tries to clinch up but Kuronoa circles away and keeps his distance.
Kuronoa throws a body shot but no joy.
Kuronoa will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kuronoa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bastard moves away.
Kuronoa lands with an uppercut that bounces Bastard off the ropes and back into range.
Kuronoa ducks under a wild hook from Bastard.
A quick step to the side and Kuronoa tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kuronoa just misses with a punch to the body.
Kuronoa connects with a looping right hand.
A punch lands to the side of Kuronoa 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Bastard misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kuronoa.
Bastard takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Bastard has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bastard lands an uppercut.
Bastard lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kuronoa backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bastard tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kuronoa working aggressively here.
Kuronoa tries to pull guard but Bastard won't allow it.

Kuronoa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kuronoa keeps the fight on the outside.
Kuronoa slips a jab from Bastard.

Bastard scores with a hook.
Kuronoa on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Kuronoa is rocked!
Bastard lands a brutal uppercut that launches Kuronoa off his feet! Kuronoa tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
