Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Three Dog (ranked 130 p4p, 20 weight class) and Marky Mark (ranked 71 p4p, 10 weight class). Dog comes to the cage accompanied by Fallout. Mark has chosen Isä ei jätä as his entrance music. Three Dog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Three Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marky Mark! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mark counters with a body kick that stops Dog in his tracks momentarily. Mark connects with an inside leg kick. Dog fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mark, pushing him back against the cage. Dog definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dog throws a punch but it's blocked by Mark. Mark scores with a nice hook to the head. Mark is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dog goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mark lands a right hand. Dog misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mark's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dog scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mark doesn't seem bothered though. Mark throws a quick inside leg kick. Dog lands a big right hand that sends Mark crashing to the mat! Dog stays standing though and waves Mark back to his feet!
It looks like Marky Mark has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dog just misses with a punch to the body.
Dog with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mark to score with a decent uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jab from Mark. Dog throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dog swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dog throws a body punch but Mark moves out of range. Dog scores with a punch to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog throws an overhand right that lands on Mark's shoulder, as Mark tries to avoid the shot. A chopping leg kick lands by Mark. Mark has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Dog tries to clinch up but Mark circles away and keeps his distance. Nice jab there from Mark. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dog misses with an uppercut. Mark saw that one coming. A swing and a miss from Dog. Mark slips a jab from Dog. Dog getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A lazy left from Mark finds it's target. Dog has Mark up against the cage in a clinch.

Dog tries to work over Mark's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mark lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Dog backwards. Dog tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A short right from Mark on the inside. A head punch on the inside from Mark fails to land. Dog blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dog swings wildly with an uppercut but Mark uses good head movement to avoid it. Mark breaks the clinch.
Dog displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mark throws out the jab. Dog loads up on a big right hand but Mark slips the punch. Mark throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog misses with a straight left. Dog steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mark. Dog with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dog moves in looking to clinch but Mark pushes him off. Dog cracks Mark with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dog has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mark to stand back up!

That has opened up Marky Mark's cut even more. Dog misses with an uppercut
letting Mark counter with a right hand. Mark is still on wobbly legs! Can Dog finish him? Mark throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mark seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dog. Dog backing away here, and Mark unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Dog takes a shot right to the bread basket. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Three Dog will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A slapping body kick lands there for Mark. Marky Mark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mark throws a right and a left that Dog avoids nicely. Dog throws a big shot that misses. Mark let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Dog closes the distance and clinches. Dog struggles to land a body shot inside as Mark controls his hands.
Mark lands with a left to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Mark. Dog lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Dog has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Dog tries to throw a body punch but Mark avoids it by throwing Dog back against the cage. Dog makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dog misses with a punch to the body.
Mark throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Dogs head. Dog scores with a hook to the body. Dog throws a punch but it's blocked by Mark. Dog swings wildly with an uppercut but Mark uses good head movement to avoid it. Mark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Dog checks a leg kick. A little feinted left hand from Dog on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dog scores with a jab. Dog misses with a low kick.
A left lands for Dog. Dog missing with a left hand there. Mark was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Mark raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Mark scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mark scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. A big right from Mark misses. Mark on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dog. Dog obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog misses with a leg kick and Mark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dog wants to clinch up but Mark keeps it at a distance. Mark throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

But no joy. Dog looks to clinch and Mark counters with a low kick, right behind Dog 's knee. Mark with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dog to score with a decent uppercut.
The cut above Marky Mark's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Dog takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog tries to clinch up. Mark checks the leg kick. Dog will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dog is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Mark takes a shot to the head. Still in the clinch, Mark scores with a nice short uppercut. Mark tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dog's elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dog successfully pulls guard.

Mark postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dog working for submissions but it's allowed Mark to get to half guard.
Dog is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mark pulls his head out easily. Dog might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dog trying to control here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mark is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mark wants to work for an arm triangle but Dog is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mark looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mark wants to control but Dog is keeping him busy. Three Dog is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dog is trying to maintain the position but Mark is very close to passing his half guard. Dog keeps control of the position for the meantime. Dog is looking for a sweep. Mark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dog trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dog is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mark tries to pass to full mount but Dog defends it. Dog looking for submissions off his back. Dog gets back to full guard.
Dog has control of Mark's left arm, preventing Mark from doing any damage. Dog preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dog looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dog is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mark is aware though and is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Three Dog. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dog, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Three Dog! A less than humble Three Dog misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
