Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herb Krison (ranked 460 p4p, 68 weight class) and Ram Rocker (ranked 232 p4p, 36 weight class). Krison's entrance music is Rebelution. A fine choice. Rocker has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Herb Krison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ram Rocker! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rocker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Krison gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rocker wants to control from the top but Krison keeps moving. Rocker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rocker throws a big elbow that misses. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Krison is on top in guard.

Rocker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krison defends it easily. Krison stays in close to Rocker's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krison trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rocker looking for a sweep. Not yet Rocker, not yet. Krison engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rocker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krison's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Krison pulls Rocker in to control the position. Rocker wants to control from the top but Krison keeps moving. Rocker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Krison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rocker is one step ahead there. Rocker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Krison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Krison utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rocker throwing strikes but missing. Rocker being controlled here momentarily. Rocker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rocker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocker postures up in Krison's guard and throws a big left but Krison blocks it. Krison seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Krison trying to control the position.

Krison tries to free his leg and advance position but Rocker is retaining full guard. Krison wants to control from the top but Rocker keeps moving. Krison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Rocker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krison can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rocker working for a triangle but Krison defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocker has his foot on Krison's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krison works his way back into a safe position though. Rocker controls Krison momentarily but Krison frees himself. Krison pushing down on Rocker's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Rocker is looking to control Krison's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rocker avoid being mounted? Krison content to control rather than advance. Krison prevents Rocker from improving his position. Rocker is still trying to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Still in half guard, Krison seems content to control. Rocker looking for submissions off his back. Rocker is trying to get back to full guard. Rocker manages to get to full guard.
Krison has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Krison's corner is telling him to maintain position. Rocker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rocker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Krison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rocker is tightening it up a little... Krison has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Krison reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Krison taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rocker!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ram Rocker! After the fight, Ram Rocker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
