Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Duff (ranked 3088 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Velvet (ranked 3954 p4p, 0 weight class). Duff comes into the arena with Kendrick Lamar - Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe blaring out of the sound system. Danny Duff has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Duff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Red Velvet!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duff throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Velvet sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Danny Duff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velvet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duff is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Velvet.
Duff cracks Velvet with an uppercut from hell and Velvet crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Duff's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Velvet is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velvet manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Duff manages to get himself to full guard.
Velvet wants to control from the top but Duff keeps moving.
Duff is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Duff trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Velvet trying to control the position from guard on top but Duff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Duff is looking to stand up but Velvet isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
We've been informed that Velvet has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Duff works the jab nicely.
A swing and a miss from Duff.
Velvet will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duff throws a jab but it's blocked by Velvet.
Danny Duff is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Velvet tries to close the distance and clinch but Duff swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Duff lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Velvet is still on wobbly legs! Can Duff finish him?
Duff cracks Velvet with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Velvet tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Duff pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Velvet is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Duff!
