Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shujinko Chung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaq Wu Sang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shujinko Chung! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaq Wu Sang! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu Sang gets a takedown into half guard. Wu Sang seems to be working for a kimura but Chung defends the submission attempt. Chung wants to get back to full guard. Chung actively working from the bottom here. Wu Sang throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Chung tries to get to full guard but Wu Sang has control of the leg. Chung avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wu Sang. Wu Sang sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chung defending well though. Wu Sang has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chung looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wu Sang shoots in looking for a takedown. Chung tries to sprawl out of it but Wu Sang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A swing and a miss from Wu Sang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu Sang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wu Sang lands in his opponent's guard. Chung looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Chung is breathing heavily. Wu Sang is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wu Sang works a leg free and moves into half guard. Chung manages to get to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wu Sang is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wu Sang throwing strikes but missing. Chung has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Wu Sang doesn't defend quickly enough and Chung has managed to lock this one up! Can Wu Sang escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Chung on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shujinko Chung!
