These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robert manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Grimes on his heels. He'll look to pass Grimes's guard now, I'm sure.
Grimes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Robert postures up.
Grimes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Grimes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Robert is working Grimes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Grimes is looking for a triangle but Robert pushes his legs off easily.
Robert passes into half guard.
Robert moves nicely into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grimes misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Robert advances nicely into full mount.
Robert is looking to stand but Grimes has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Robert postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Grimes looks a forlorn figure.

Robert's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Grimes tries to hold on but Robert pushes him away.

A very excited looking Doc Robert rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
