The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Diaz is looking to regain half guard here but Bishop keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bishop trying to control the action but Diaz is working from the bottom.
Bishop prevents Diaz from escaping the position.
A lull in the action here.
Diaz is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bishop asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Bishop is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Diaz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Diaz is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bishop has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Bishop takes Diaz's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Diaz is in trouble.
Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bishop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
