Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ragang Ebon (ranked 4336 p4p, 334 weight class) and John Hogan (ranked 7232 p4p, 387 weight class). Hogan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In The End - Linkin Park kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ragang Ebon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Hogan! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan forces Ebon back against the cage and clinches. Ebon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hogan tries to clinch up but Ebon circles away and keeps his distance. Hogan shoots for a takedown but Ebon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ebon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ebon is trying to stall.
Hogan has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ebon regains guard immediately. Hogan is looking to work some ground and pound but Ebon has wrist control. Hogan throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ebon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hogan wants to stand and escape but instead Ebon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Hogan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ebon defends well. Hogan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ebon passes into half guard.
Ebon landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hogan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ebon pulls his head out easily. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ebon lands a nice short elbow. Ebon content to control rather than advance. Ebon lands with a punch from half guard. Nice strikes from Ebon there. Hogan looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ebon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hogan on the ground. Ebon is nestled in close to Hogan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hogan is trying to get back to full guard. Ebon wants to work for an arm triangle but Hogan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hogan looking for submissions off his back. Ebon is looking to advance position but Hogan won't allow it. Hogan wants to improve his position but Ebon is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ragang Ebon will probably get the nod. That's time! Ebon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hogan shoots in and gets a takedown into Ebon's guard. Ebon is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. A bit of stalling here from Ebon.
Hogan looking for a takedown. Ebon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ebon looks for a takedown but Hogan sprawls well. Hogan is looking for the big counter here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ebon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hogan avoids it really well and circles away. Ebon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ragang Ebon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan goes for a double leg but Ebon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ebon continues to drive forward. Hogan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ebon's guard. Hogan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Ragang Ebon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ebon is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ebon's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hogan is trying to work for a kimura but Ebon is defending well.
Hogan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ebon tries to kick Hogan off but Hogan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ebon has managed to free his arm - good work. Hogan is trying for a kimura here. Ebon looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hogan wins by kimura!
