Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Doran (ranked 6121 p4p, 399 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 3768 p4p, 317 weight class). Doran's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rappin' For Jesus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Doran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jones! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Doran to the mat! Doran manages to get full guard. Doran throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Doran working for a triangle but Jones defends it easily.
Doran is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doran looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doran wants to sweep but no luck. Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Doran pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage. Jones won't allow Doran to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Doran looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones passes Doran's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jones prevents Doran from standing back up.
Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Doran. Jones gets to mount! Doran was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Doran keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Doran regains half guard. Doran tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jones dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Doran fails with the takedown. Jones forces Doran back against the cage and clinches. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Doran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Doran fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Doran. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doran tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes. Doran shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Doran looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Doran fails with the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones drops Doran with a beautiful combination! Doran stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jones is looking for the KO!
It looks like Peter Doran has been cut. Doran misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Doran shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side. Jones scores with a takedown into Doran's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones postures up.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Doran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Doran is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doran wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. Doran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Doran wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard. Jones is thwarting Doran's attempts to control the position. Jones is trying to control. Doran wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Doran is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jones scores with a couple of nice shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Peter Doran's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Doran sprawls well. Doran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Doran shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jones lands a shot to the body. Jones effectively controlling the action here. Doran tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones pulls guard. Doran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doran pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Doran trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Doran tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Doran preventing the sweep.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones forces Doran back against the cage and clinches. Jones stalling the fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Jack Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
