Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Chadmuska!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Plude!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chadmuska has a takedown stuffed.
Chadmuska shoots for a double leg takedown but Plude sprawls well. He's pushed Chadmuska's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Plude looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fighters circle momentarily. Plude darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Plude throws a good cross that connects.
Plude misses with a few strikes there.
Plude gets the takedown into side control.
Chadmuska is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Chadmuska really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Plude is looking to take a break and control but Chadmuska is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Plude postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Chadmuska struggling a bit here.
Plude is putting a hurting on Chadmuska here, landing some big shots from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chadmuska gets back to half guard.
Chadmuska wants to improve his position but Plude is controlling well.
Plude looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Plude wants to free his trapped foot but Chadmuska is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chadmuska is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Plude pulls his head out easily.
Plude tries to pass to full mount but Chadmuska defends it.
Chadmuska is trying to control but can't.
Chadmuska is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Plude is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Plude working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chadmuska is trying to control but Plude manages to pass to mount!
Chadmuska tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Plude in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Plude lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Chadmuska is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Chadmuska wants to control but Plude is having none of it.
Oh Chadmuska is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Plude connects with a bit shot that sees Chadmuska covering up! More strikes from Plude and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Plude is our winner by TKO!
