Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Savage.
Marcio Pereira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage throws a right hand that Pereira ducks under and follows up with a left that Pereira also avoids with ease.
Pereira rushes Savage and presses him up against the cage.
Savage wants to get back to striking at distance but Pereira won't allow it.
Pereira blocks a body shot from Savage.
Pereira turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Pereira decides to stand back up. Pereira steps back and let's Savage get back to his feet.
Pereira lands with a nice body kick.
Pereira gets a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pereira breaks the clinch.
Pereira closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pereira gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Pereira stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Pereira scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pereira lets loose with a powerful body kick. Savage will feel that in the morning.
Pereira lands a head kick. Savage smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pereira lunges at Savage with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Savage's hand.
Savage is rocked!
Savage gets tackled into the cage by Pereira. Pereira maintains the clinch.
Oh Savage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pereira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pereira throws a powerful right kick. Savage tried to block low but the kick was high! Savage was taken right off of his feet! Pereira jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marcio Pereira!
