Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bunk Moreland (ranked 4907 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Tardeno (ranked 4990 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bunk Moreland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roberto Tardeno! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Tardeno. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tardeno. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tardeno enables Moreland to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tardeno manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Moreland wants to pass the guard but Tardeno is keeping the position. Moreland drops back looking for a leg! Tardeno is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tardeno manages to kick Moreland off! Moreland jumps back into Tardeno's guard. Moreland seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moreland wants to control from the top but Tardeno keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tardeno is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreland is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Moreland looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tardeno is one step ahead there. Tardeno wants to stand but Moreland has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Tardeno trying to control but Moreland is working from the bottom. Moreland looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tardeno is one step ahead there. Moreland will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moreland has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tardeno off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Tardeno will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tardeno feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Moreland is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Tardeno looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Moreland fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Tardeno escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreland fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tardeno to the ground. Moreland is now in Tardeno's guard. Moreland forces his way into half guard. Tardeno is pressing down on Moreland's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Moreland won't allow Tardeno to get back to his feet. Moreland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tardeno is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Moreland is aware though and is defending well. Tardeno looks winded! Moreland stands and throws Tardeno's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tardeno trying to remain calm as Moreland controls from the top position. Tardeno is not content to let Moreland control the position. Tardeno trying to control but Moreland flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Tardeno can't escape the position.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moreland struggling to keep hold of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bunk Moreland dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tardeno rushes Moreland and presses him up against the cage. Tardeno wants to take the fight to the mat but Moreland manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tardeno swings wildly with an uppercut but Moreland uses good head movement to avoid it. Tardeno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moreland is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tardeno can do to turn this around? Tardeno looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tardeno tries for a takedown but Moreland circles away easily and Moreland moves into the clinch. Bunk Moreland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Tardeno. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tardeno breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A combination from Tardeno does no damage. Tardeno looks to throw a body kick and Moreland counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moreland. Tardeno has his feet on Moreland's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moreland shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreland dives in and scores a takedown into Tardeno's guard. Tardeno is breathing heavily. Tardeno wants to get back to his feet but Moreland is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Moreland is in close to Tardeno's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Tardeno is rocked! Moreland is stalling in the full guard. Tardeno is still in real trouble! Can Moreland finish him? Moreland is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moreland pushes down on Tardeno's leg and manages to get into half guard. Moreland is taking a breather. Tardeno says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Moreland is working for a kimura but Tardeno is defending it quite comfortably.
Moreland trying to control the pace. Moreland uses his free foot to push down on Tardeno's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tardeno. Moreland lands a big shot to the head and Tardeno winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
