Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willie Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Dean Rockefeller!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockefeller misses with a head kick.
Salazar moves out of range as Rockefeller strikes.
A swing and a miss from Rockefeller.
Rockefeller connects with a single shot there.
Salazar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A slow jab from Rockefeller misses its intended target.
Salazar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rockefeller sprawls well. Rockefeller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salazar gets slowly back to his feet.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rockefeller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rockefeller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rockefeller swings for the body but Salazar moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salazar moves in looking to clinch but Rockefeller pushes him off.
Salazar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rockefeller! But no joy.
Rockefeller circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rockefeller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Salazar.
A jab from Rockefeller does it's job there.

Salazar wants to clinch but Rockefeller slips to the side
and Rockefeller counters with a straight right hand.
Salazar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rockefeller throws out the jab.
Salazar wants to clinch up but Rockefeller keeps it at a distance.
Salazar tries to clinch but Rockefeller moves out of range.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rockefeller paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rockefeller looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Salazar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Salazar.

Rockefeller breaks the clinch.

Salazar is rocked!
Salazar is aggressively charging in as Rockefeller backs up avoiding any damage. Rockefeller tosses out a jab and Salazar runs right into it face first! Salazar is out cold! Rockefeller dropped down on all fours and is barking in Salazar's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Dean Rockefeller!
