Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bolleke (ranked 797 p4p, 116 weight class) and Beast Boy (ranked 296 p4p, 43 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Bolleke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beast Boy!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bolleke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Boy is looking to escape.
Bolleke throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Boy is trying to stand up here but Bolleke is controlling him well.
Bolleke tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boy wants to stand back up but Bolleke manages to pass into side control.
Bolleke is looking to take a break and control but Boy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bolleke wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Boy, who protects the arm well.
Bolleke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boy takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Boy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bolleke has just dragged him back down to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bolleke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bolleke trying to control the action but Boy is working from the bottom.
Bolleke is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Boy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bolleke is controlling him well.
Bolleke just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boy is trying to get back to his feet.
Bolleke cracks Boy with a big right hand but Boy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bolleke sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boy is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Boy is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Boy throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Bolleke looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Bolleke has Boy up against the cage in a clinch.
Boy's coach down at MONEY TEAM!!! was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Boy is trying to break the clinch but Bolleke is controlling him.
Bolleke lands a left hand.

Boy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A shot to the body from Boy misses
and Bolleke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bolleke throws a hook to the side of Boy's head but Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bolleke darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Boy is trying to stand back up but Bolleke is controlling him
Bolleke trying to control from half guard but Boy is working away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boy tries to kick Bolleke off but Bolleke keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Boy is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bolleke not doing much here.
Boy is trying to stand up here but Bolleke is controlling him well.
Bolleke is keen to just control but Boy is a slippery customer.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bolleke wants to clinch up but Boy keeps it at a distance.
Bolleke scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Bolleke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Boy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bolleke.
Boy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bolleke moves away.
Bolleke punishes Boy's body with a nice straight punch.
Beast Boy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Boy misses with an uppercut.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bolleke moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Boy misses with a body shot.
Boy takes one to the chin there.
Bolleke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boy.
Boy keeps the fight on the outside.
Boy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bolleke. That did some damage!
Bolleke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boy.
Bolleke lands with a hook. Boy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boy is rocked!
Bolleke fakes the body blow, causing Boy to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Boy goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thomas Bolleke!
Thomas Bolleke seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
