Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Glass (ranked 147 p4p, 23 weight class) and Jax Thomas (ranked 617 p4p, 80 weight class). Glass comes to the cage accompanied by Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack. Thomas has chosen Killing is my business, and business is good! - Megadeth as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 14 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jax Thomas! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Desmond Glass has been cut. Thomas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Glass throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Glass looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Glass rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Glass. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet. A punch lands to the side of Thomas 's head but he takes it in his stride. Thomas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Glass. Thomas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Glass sees it coming and avoids it easily. Glass works the jab nicely. Thomas displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Glass throws out the jab. Thomas tries to counter with a clinch but Glass shakes him off and moves away. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Thomas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Thomas cracks the inside of Glass's front leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glass scores with a jab to the body. Thomas swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Glass throws a hook to the side of Thomas's head but Thomas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. An inside leg kick from Glass misses. Glass tests Thomas's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass misses with an uppercut
and Thomas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Glass throws a body shot but no joy. Glass chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Thomas can pounce on him.
Glass thows a leg kick but Thomas checks it and Thomas counters with a lovely straight right hand! Glass throws a body shot but no joy. Thomas tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Glass counters with a straight right hand. Thomas moves out of range of the body kick. Glass works Thomas's body with a nice hook. Glass misses the body punch and Thomas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Glass misses with a shot to the body and Thomas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Glass throws a big shot that misses. Thomas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Glass manages to avoid it. Glass takes a swing at Thomas's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Glass misses its intended target. Thomas wants to counter with a clinch but Glass pushes him away. Glass keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Desmond Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glass misses with a hook
and Thomas makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Glass punishes Thomas's body with a nice straight punch. Glass displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thomas throws out the jab. Glass scores with a hook to the body. Thomas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Glass throws a looping overhand right but Thomas ducks down to avoid it. Thomas throws out a counter right but Glass avoids it with no problem. Glass throws a right hand that misses
and Thomas counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Glass misses with a wild body shot. Thomas wants to counter the offense by Glass and move into the clinch position. A solid leg kick lands there for Glass.
Glass tried to score with a low kick but Thomas checks it. Thomas appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Glass tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thomas was well out of range. Poor timing from Glass. Glass swings away with a body shot that misses
and Thomas counters with a two punch combo. Thomas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Thomas takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas tries to throw a body punch but Glass avoids it by throwing Thomas back against the cage. Thomas tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Glass just stands there and leans against the cage. Glass tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Still in the clinch, Glass scores with a nice short uppercut. Glass blocking some punches.
Thomas lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Glass or not. Thomas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A nice inside leg kick there by Glass. That's going to slow Thomas down. Glass tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thomas was well out of range. Poor timing from Glass. Thomas appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Glass takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Glass misses with a body punch
and Thomas counters with a lovely straight right hand! Desmond Glass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Glass pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Glass lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Glass lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Thomas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Thomas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Thomas with the counter takedown but Glass avoids it easily. Thomas avoids the body shot from Glass.
Glass stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thomas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Thomas. Thomas works Glass's body with a nice hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Glass misses with a wild body shot. Thomas appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Glass uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Thomas has time to react. Glass on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Thomas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Thomas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Desmond Glass's cut is getting worse. Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. That kick from Thomas tenderised Glass's leg. Glass is trying to keep his angry face on. A shot to the body from Glass misses and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand. Thomas looks to score with a jab to the body but Glass is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jax Thomas will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Desmond Glass's cut. That's time! Glass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Thomas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Glass throws a body shot but no joy. A little jabbing left from Thomas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Glass throws a big shot that misses. Thomas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Glass at a distance.
Glass throws the left hand but Thomas avoids the punch easily. Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Thomas lands a body shot.
Thomas has taken the fight to the clinch.
Thomas throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thomas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thomas swings and misses with a hook to the body.
An attempted straight right counter from Glass misses the target. Thomas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Jax Thomas seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Glass misses with a body punch
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Glass. Thomas does a little dance to reset his feet. Thomas feints a counter leg kick. Thomas drops Glass with a beautiful combination! Glass stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thomas is looking for the KO!
Glass is rocked! Glass thows a leg kick but Thomas checks it and Thomas counters with a crisp right that sends Glass to the canvas! Thomas follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jax Thomas! After winning the bout, Jax Thomas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. Desmond Glass was interviewed post fight and said 'I have to get with my coaches and manager, and rethink my gameplan going forward. I'll be back.'.
