Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chuck Bomba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bak Break! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomba thows a leg kick but Break checks it and Break counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bomba pushes Break off but Break dives into side control.
Break slows the pace down. Break working away. Bomba seems a little lost for a moment, as Break dominates the positioning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Check out the look on Break's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Break has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Break cracks Bomba with a big elbow.
It looks like Chuck Bomba has been cut. Break has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bomba is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Break yanks on the arm and Bomba is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Break.
