The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irving Il throws the left hand but Larraq avoids the punch easily.
Larraq gets a double leg takedown into Irving Il's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Larraq throws a front kick aimed at Irving Il's knee but Irving Il avoids it well.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Irving Il, as that shot connected.
Larraq closes the distance and clinches up with Irving Il, looking for a takedown. Larraq pushes Irving Il against the cage but Irving Il circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Irving Il fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Larraq shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Irving Il but Irving Il pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kyrie Irving Il seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Irving Il throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Larraq tried to counter with a leg kick but Irving Il avoided it.
Irving Il stuffs the takedown attempt from Larraq. Larraq gets slowly back to his feet.

Larraq is staying tight to Irving Il's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That was a close round but I would say that Aamra Larraq will probably get the nod.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Larraq is defended easily by Irving Il.
Larraq has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Irving Il.

Larraq takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A nice inside leg kick there by Larraq. That's going to slow Irving Il down.
Irving Il throws a right hand that Larraq ducks under and follows up with a left that Larraq also avoids with ease.
It appears Larraq was looking to counter with a kick there.
Nice takedown defense from Irving Il. No joy for Larraq on that attempt.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Irving Il moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Larraq! Irving Il continues to tee off on Larraq, landing with a left and a right! Irving Il connects with a right hand that leaves Larraq sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Irving Il!
