Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cochise Harris (ranked 2054 p4p, 252 weight class) and Carter Donovan (ranked 1343 p4p, 187 weight class). Cochise Harris could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carter Donovan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cochise Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carter Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Donovan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Cochise Harris has been cut.
Harris misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Donovan to counter with a crisp jab.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination
and Donovan counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Donovan gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Harris.
Harris has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Donovan cracks Harris with an open hand slap.
Donovan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harris manages to avoid it.
Donovan scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donovan scores with a hook to the body. Harris takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Harris swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Donovan lands a glancing blow to the side of Harris's head.
Harris comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Donovan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Harris misses with a shot to the body
and Donovan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Harris fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Donovan checks it well.
A decent looking cross lands there for Donovan.
We've been told by Harris's head coaches at The Coffee Shop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Harris works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Donovan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Donovan circles away quickly and effectively.
Harris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harris takes one to the chin there.
Harris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Donovan.
Harris walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Harris rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Donovan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Harris is rocked!
Harris gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Donovan gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carter Donovan!
