Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philo Beddo (ranked 1733 p4p, 220 weight class) and Levan Revazshvili (ranked 1239 p4p, 163 weight class). 32 - 18 - 3, fighting out of New York, Levan Revazshvili! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice combination there by Revazshvili.
A right-left combo lands from Beddo. Revazshvili swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Beddo counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Revazshvili thinking. Revazshvili misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beddo.
Beddo seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Revazshvili throws a big shot that misses. A little feinted left hand from Beddo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Revazshvili slips a jab and a cross from Beddo.
Revazshvili swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Revazshvili misses with a hook. Beddo ducked under it nicely. Revazshvili swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Beddo. Beddo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beddo just misses with a punch to the body.

Beddo lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. That was a close round but I would say that Philo Beddo will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Philo Beddo's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Donk. Beddo catches Revazshvili right on the button with a cross. Revazshvili connects with a looping right hand.
Philo Beddo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Beddo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Revazshvili lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beddo circles away quickly and effectively. Beddo feinted there with a counter leg kick. Revazshvili stalks Beddo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Beddo's face. Beddo staggers backwards, shaken. Beddo slips a jab and a cross from Revazshvili.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Revazshvili throws a predictable looking body shot
and Beddo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Revazshvili lands a jab. Revazshvili drops Beddo with a left right combo! Revazshvili follows him down to the ground into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beddo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Revazshvili connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Beddo some visible discomfort.
Revazshvili takes a little break here. Beddo wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Revazshvili lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Beddo down.

Beddo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Beddo prevents Revazshvili from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Revazshvili avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Beddo. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Revazshvili uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beddo. Beddo misses with a hook. and Beddo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Beddo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Revazshvili looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Beddo tries to clinch but Revazshvili moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beddo looks to land a left hand but Revazshvili moved out of range nicely. Revazshvili scores with a nice head shot. Revazshvili jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

That will dishearten Beddo somewhat. Beddo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

This has been an exciting period of action! Beddo goes for a double leg but Revazshvili avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Revazshvili continues to drive forward. Beddo slips a straight right by Revazshvili. Revazshvili swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
