Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Shogun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Israel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Shogun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Israel! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Israel fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Israel gets the takedown into side control. Shogun takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Israel decides to stand up, so the ref orders Shogun to his feet. Israel looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Israel is looking to stand up but Shogun won't let him. Israel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Shogun is keeping the position for now. Shogun looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Shogun is looking for a triangle but Israel pushes his legs off easily.
Shogun is breathing heavily. Israel working some strikes from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Israel wants to pass the guard but Shogun is keeping the position. Shogun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Israel content to stall in guard here. Israel wants to get up but he can't break Shogun's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Shogun keeping moving, preventing Israel from controlling successfully. Shogun working for a triangle but Israel defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Israel thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shogun trying to control the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Israel scores a takedown into full mount! BOOM! Israel connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Israel controlling his opponent. Israel tries to control but Shogun wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Israel lands a heavy elbow. Israel lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Israel landing strikes, looking to finish! Israel is standing up, even though he is in mount. Israel swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shogun. Israel is looking to clinch. Israel moves in looking to clinch but Shogun pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Israel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shogun fails with the takedown and Israel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Israel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Israel slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Israel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Shogun looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Israel passes into side control.
Shogun is not content to let Israel control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Israel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Israel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Israel dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Shogun throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Shogun misses with the combination.
Israel moves in looking to clinch but Shogun pushes him off. Israel closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Israel blocks the strikes from Shogun.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Israel has hold of Shogun's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shogun tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Israel cranks the arm and Shogun screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shogun, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Brock Israel!
