Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Roy (ranked 2066 p4p, 260 weight class) and Breno Gracie (ranked 1960 p4p, 246 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Roy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Breno Gracie! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie misses with the combination.
Gracie misses with a double jab.
Roy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Roy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Gracie misses with a hook
letting Roy counter with a right hand.
It looks like Breno Gracie has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie. Left hook, right uppercut from Roy. Roy cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Roy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gracie. Roy misses with a leg kick. Roy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie. A decent looking body kick lands there for Roy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roy throws a shot from downtown. Gracie moves away and avoids it. Gracie defending well as Roy loads up on a big left hand. Roy tries a head kick but it misses.
Gracie is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Horrible takedown attempt by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Roy, which made it look bad. Gracie throws a lazy right hand but Roy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Gracie throws out a loose jab but Roy uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy moves out of range as Gracie strikes. Lee Roy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gracie misses with a looping left. Gracie throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Roy counters with a lovely shot to the body. Roy walks into a left hand. Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roy. Roy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gracie misses with a straight left. Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Roy to the ground. Gracie is now in Roy's guard. Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Roy wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment. Roy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gracie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Pablo's Boxing Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Roy working for a triangle but Gracie defends it easily.
Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Roy's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Roy sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Roy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Roy is looking for a triangle but Gracie pushes his legs off easily.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roy is keeping the position for now. Roy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Roy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roy manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Roy's guard. Roy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Roy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Roy controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roy is pulling down on Gracie's head to control his posture. Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Roy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Roy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Roy! Gracie on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Roy scores with punches from side control. Check out the look on Roy's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Gracie is looking to reverse the position. Roy looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gracie is avoiding damage well.
Roy lands a decent elbow from side control. Roy tries to score with some ground and pound. Gracie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Gracie tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Lee Roy will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Breno Gracie's cut. That's time! Roy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Gracie misses the target. Gracie might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A swing and a miss from Gracie. Gracie walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Roy misses with a body shot.
Lee Roy is winning the standup battle so far. Gracie has a takedown stuffed. Roy feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Gracie's calf. Roy cracks Gracie with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Roy fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gracie on the side of the head. Roy motions for Gracie to come forward. Roy throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Roy pushes his down on his head and steps out. Good exchange - Roy coming out on top. Roy throws a quick inside leg kick. Roy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie moves away from the strike by Roy. Gracie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away. Gracie blocks a head kick by Roy.

Gracie throws a hook to the side of Roy's head but Roy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Roy thinks about countering with a body kick. Roy keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie. A big left from Gracie misses. A jab from Roy finds it's way through Gracie's defenses. Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Roy. Gracie throws a hook but Roy blocks it. Gracie misses with a hook. Roy gets caught napping as Gracie dives in and scores a takedown. Roy manages to retain guard. Roy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Roy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roy defends well. Lee Roy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gracie working for a triangle but Roy defends it easily.

Roy lands a couple of elbows. Roy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Roy defends well. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Roy from controlling successfully. Roy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Roy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Roy dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Breno Gracie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Roy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Gracie checks a leg kick. Roy lands a jab to the nose. Gracie misses with a looping left. Gracie throws out a loose jab but Roy uses good head movement to avoid it. Roy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Gracie moves into range and connects with a jab. Gracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Roy. Gracie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Roy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy scoring well with a low kick there.
Gracie slips a jab from Roy. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Roy tries to work over Gracie's front leg with a kick but Gracie checks it. Roy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage! Breno Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Roy, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy slips under a jab from Gracie. Gracie moves out of range of the leg kick from Roy. Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Roy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Roy's corner calls for a 1-2. Roy obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Gracie takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Roy cracks the inside of Gracie's front leg. Gracie throws a poor cross that misses
and Roy counters with a solid body kick. A swing and a miss from Gracie. Roy throws a body shot but no joy. Roy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Roy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Roy swings away with a leg kick that misses. Gracie shoots and misses and Roy counters with a lovely straight right hand! Lee Roy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Breno Gracie. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie looks to land a left hand but Roy moved out of range nicely. Roy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands.

That has opened up Breno Gracie's cut even more. Gracie misses with a hook
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gracie is still on wobbly legs! Can Roy finish him? A solid leg kick lands there for Roy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Roy! Gracie is out on his feet! Roy rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gracie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gracie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Roy! After winning the bout, Lee Roy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
