Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Suzuki Sakurai (ranked 5786 p4p, 469 weight class) and Over Power (ranked 2868 p4p, 320 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Suzuki Sakurai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Over Power! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakurai throws a nice looking combination but Power bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sakurai throws a head kick that misses and Power counters with a nice body shot. Power misses with an uppercut. Power getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sakurai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Power scores with the left hand. Sakurai knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Suzuki Sakurai has been cut. Power misses with a straight right. Sakurai blocks a jab. Sakurai throws a lazy right hand but Power sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Power looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sakurai looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Power is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sakurai. Power misses with a hook. Sakurai ducked under it nicely. Sakurai lands a head kick. Power smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Sakurai throws a lazy body kick and Power cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sakurai misses with a wild body shot. Power looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Power takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Power swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Power misses with a series of wild punches.
Sakurai tries to score a power double leg takedown but Power sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sakurai somewhat. Power moves out of range of the body kick. Power unleashes a big counter combination but Sakurai bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Sakurai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Power counters with a right hand to the body. Power throws a hook to the side of Sakurai's head but Sakurai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sakurai is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Power is looking for the big counter here. Power throws a jab when Sakurai was well out of range. Sakurai misses with the combination.
Power throws out a counter right but Sakurai avoids it with no problem. Sakurai throws a nice head kick!
Sakurai with a lazy takedown attempt and Power counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Suzuki Sakurai. That's going to take a lot out of him. Power swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sakurai. Power lands with a hook. Sakurai tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sakurai throws a head kick but Power moves out of range.
Power misses with a two punch combination.
Sakurai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Power fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sakurai on the side of the head.
Suzuki Sakurai's cut is getting worse. Sakurai misses with a double jab
and Power counters with a nice uppercut. Suzuki Sakurai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Power ducks under a wild hook from Sakurai. Power feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sakurai sprawling to the canvas! Sakurai rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Power finish him?!
Sakurai is rocked! Power cracks Sakurai with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Over Power! Over Power decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
