Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Deadmarsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Toshi Hijikata!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hijikata moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hijikata walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Deadmarsh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Deadmarsh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Deadmarsh has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Guerrilla MMA in the buildup to the fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hijikata crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Deadmarsh - the referee stops the clock and Hijikata gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Deadmarsh. Hijikata manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Adam Deadmarsh will probably get the nod.
